Salesforce Spring ’25 Release: New Agentforce Skills, Reasoning, and Integrations to Build a Digital Labor Workforce

Salesforce today announced that the Spring ‘25 release is now live, marking continued momentum for Agentforce, the digital labor platform.

Why it matters: The Spring ʼ25 release includes hundreds of new features, including a new library of pre-built skills, enhanced reasoning powered by the Atlas Reasoning Engine, and pre-built integrations. These features will be generally available February 17, 2025, and help companies:

  • Connect with customers at scale using digital labor on Salesforce’s trusted, deeply unified platform.
  • Leverage data and insights faster.
  • Achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency, innovation, growth, and customer success.

Highlights from the Spring ʼ25 product release:

Agentforce: New features in this release include AI-Assisted Agent Generation, which uses a large language model (LLM) to provide suggested topics, instructions, and actions when creating agents from scratch, the Agentforce Testing Center, which helps companies test agents at scale using AI-generated scenarios, and expanded language support for Prompt Builder to support a wider range of languages. The release also includes Field-Based Masking in the Einstein Trust Layer, which uses metadata from Salesforce fields to identify and mask sensitive data with placeholders for enhanced data protection.

Service Cloud: The Spring ‘25 release introduces new Agentforce Service skills. This release includes Service Assistant, which creates personalized, multi-step action plans for service reps, and Agentforce for Field Service, an AI agent that helps customers schedule appointments without having to be transferred to a human.

Sales Cloud: Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) is now available in Agentforce for Sales. With RAG, Agentforce can tap into a wealth of structured and unstructured company and customer data, including uploaded documents and knowledge articles, to autonomously craft hyper-personalized responses for lead nurturing. This leads to more engaging conversations and faster deal closures.

Data Cloud: New Salesforce Data Cloud features include Private Connect for Data Cloud, which provides secure, bidirectional data access, Zero Copy File Federation for accessing large datasets, and Hybrid Search for more relevant search results from unstructured data. These features work together to make Agentforce experiences more trusted and accurate by improving data access, security, and search capabilities.

Platform: A new feature in Event Monitoring called Event Log Objects stores log data as standard Salesforce objects, enabling customers to quickly identify, visualize, and analyze user behavior. Using Event Log Objects and SOQL queries, Agentforce customers can even create custom agent actions that deliver comprehensive summaries of risky user activity. Agentforce can then act immediately, creating security cases or revoking user permissions.
