Some of the world's greatest athletes are headed to Paris for the Paralympic Games. And with features across Search, Maps, YouTube and more, you can experience the action wherever you are.
1. Stay up-to-date on what’s happening with Search
Celebrate the Paralympic Games through daily Paralympic Doodles and features which help you stay up-to-date on your favorite athletes, sports and countries. Find schedules in your local timezone along with the latest detailed results, medal counts, news, and video highlights — all in one place.
When one of your favorite teams or athletes wins a medal, just search for them and you will be able to send a virtual bouquet of flowers to celebrate their achievements.
Don’t miss Most Searched Playground: Paris 2024, our interactive experience where you can test your knowledge of legendary athletes, iconic sports and the vibrant cultures of Paris and the Olympics and Paralympics.
2. Confidently navigate the streets of Paris with Maps
Navigating the streets of an unfamiliar city can be challenging, especially when you don't know the most accessible routes or places to visit. That’s why we’ve worked with local officials to update accessibility information for nearly 50,000 restaurants, shops and attractions in France, which you can search for using the new “wheelchair accessible entrance” filter on both Google Maps and Search. If you’re taking public transit, Maps will show you if stations along the route have an elevator outage, so you can plan accordingly. Learn more about how Maps and Waze are helping people navigate and explore during the Games.
3. Catch all the Paralympics moments with YouTube
The entire Paralympics Games will be live streamed on the Paralympic Games YouTube channel across 175 territories including Japan, Korea, India, and Mexico, and the Channel 4 Sport YouTube channel in the UK. And with multiview, which is available everywhere, you can watch up to four streams at the same time so you don’t have to miss a second of your favorite Paralympic sports.
4. Watch in one place with Google TV
Google TV makes it easy to watch the most thrilling moments from The Paralympics. Cheer on your favorite athletes during live events, relive the most unforgettable moments with official highlights, or go behind the scenes with interviews and stories. Just click the Paralympics banner on the "For you" tab.
5. Collect digital mascots with Google Pay
Google Pay and Visa are celebrating the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games with the Visa Paris 2024 campaign in Google Wallet. Visa cardholders in over 75 countries can earn digital Phryges from different Olympic and Paralympic sports every time they tap to pay with Visa using Google Pay in store or online. Each in-store transaction reveals a surprise animation in Wallet, featuring one of their collected Paris 2024 mascots. You can also see how paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock uses his Visa Card in Google Pay in this video.
6. See our commitment to building an inclusive environment in action
It’s important for people to feel comfortable in their environment, especially in a new place. To support the athletes, Google will provide sensory rooms and sensory bags at the Team USA House. These bags are filled with sensory tools like fidget toys, noise-canceling headphones and more. Team USA and Google are honored to help create an inclusive environment for all attendees.
And be sure to cheer on Christian King, Tyler Merren, and Matt Simpson — Google Pixel athlete ambassadors via our partnership with the US Association of Blind Athletes — as they compete in Men's Goalball.
